Only for the rich? Not really! If you´re willing to sleep in a camper and cook your own food, you´ll be able to enjoy this beach even if you don´t have a lot of money.
We stayed at a super cute camp site (Camping Les Eucalyptus) very close to the famous Pampelonne Beach where the rich and glamurous get to by yacht. I´ve never seen more luxusious boats in one place my entire life! It´s not crowded and we never had the feeling of it being to touristy. The music was a bit loud at times but the positive things definately outweighed the negative. No hotels close by - which is something we love. The beach is kid-friendly and the water is magnificent. France at it´s best! We loved it.
